Shirley Ann Hamby, 74 of Smiths Station, Alabama Passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Shirley was born March 5, 1949 in Talbotton, Georgia; daughter of the late Oliver Hamby and Annie Mae Leroy Lohere. She was past owner of Custom Cabinets with her late husband, Dennis Sanders.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Sanders, daughter, Amy Claire Sanders and several siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Joy Denise Sanders, sister, Linda Collins, close friends, Louise Cox and her sons, Brandon, Shannon, Landon and their children, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
