Sondra Nell Harper

Sondra Nell Harper, age 75, of Salem, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Sondra was born in Columbus, Georgia; daughter of the late Johnny F. James (step-mom, Henrietta James) and Kaynell Farmer James.

Mrs. Harper was retired from Walmart after many years, was a life-time member of Concord Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing karaoke at the VFW 5528, loved playing bingo and attending all of her grandchildren's events and loved attending the Christmas Parade.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Harper, Jr., and great grandchild, Lola Marie Richard.

Survivors include her daughters, Dee Dee Perriera (Vic), Kay Niehoff, Kim Jones (Chris) Theresa Harper, step-brother, John Powell (Kathy), grandchildren, James, Chris, Courtney, Brittany, Brittany, Allie, Leslie, Lonnie, Jr., Nick, Chris, Lisa, Travis, Timmy, Wesley, Audrey, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A visitation for family and friends for Sondra will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
