A visitation for family and friends for Tommy will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A celebration of life funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, Alabama.
Tommy was born May 8, 1966 in Columbus, Georgia; son of Fernando Saiz and the late Betty Ann Wise Saiz. He worked 35 years for Superior Roofing in Phenix City and loved watching his son race cars and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a true family man.
Other than his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Dean Scroggins.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Sandra Ann Williams Scroggins, father, Fernando Saiz (Judy), son, Thomas Scroggins (Kennen), daughter, Ashlea Scroggins, grandchildren, Jake, Leah Grace, Noah Thomas and Charlotte Ann. He also leaves behind his brothers, Kerry Scroggins (Debra), Mark Saiz (Tammy), Robin Saiz (Nadira), step-brother, Richard Holman (Taryn) and many nieces and nephews.
