William "Bill" Wortham Gibson Jr.

William Wortham "Bill" Gibson, Jr., 60 of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his home. Private funeral services wil be held at a later date, according to Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, Alabama.

Mr. Gibson was born December 31, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late William Wortham Gibson, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Jones Gibson. He was a succesful real estate appraiser and was baptist by faith. He was very outgoing with an outstanding personality who never met a stranger; loved cars, water sports, nature and his faithful dog "Deuce".

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Nicole Felberg (Brett) of Winter Park, FL, granddaughter, Aria Grace Felberg, sisters, Dorothy Loretta Britt, Shirley Gibson Williamson (Jim), paternal aunt, Martha Gibson Long, all of Columbus, GA, nephews, Gregory Wayne Davis, Earl Stacey Davis, James B. Williamson, nieces, Teresa Marie Fernquist, Susan Leanne Williamson, cousins, Robbie Long, Renee Bell along with numerous other cousins, great nieces Nikki Garcia and Katie Williamson; great great nieces, Jordyn and Londyn Garcia.

He loved his family and he will be greatly missed. His family loved him dearly and we look forward to being together again with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
