William Howard McKee III

Bill was born in Murfreesboro, TN, and lived in many places during his life. He was preceded in death by loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy Jean McKee, and daughter Linda Gale Arnett.

He is survived by wife, Charlotte McKee; a son William H. “Mickey” McKee IV (Sarah) of Elkhart, IN; son-in-law, Kenneth Arnett of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren in Ft Worth, TX, Laura McKee Martin (Kris) and William H. “Quint” McKee V (Allison); four great grandchildren, Killian Guy Martin, Liam Alexander Martin, William Hunter McKee and Abigail Leigh McKee, and step-great grandchildren in Tyler TX, Jacob and Jordan Martin.

He is also survived by cousins, Mary Lou Orr and Bart Yeargen, sister-in-law Betty J. Davis and brother-in-law Bill Willis.

A visitation will be in Jackson, TN on Monday March 14, 2022 from 4 PM – 6 PM from the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3:00 P.M. EDT with visitation from 2:00pm -3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
