William Douglas Winslow

A visitation for family and friends for William will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. Following the visitation for family and friends will be a graveside service with military honors at 12:30 PM at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Hwy 165, Fort Mitchell, Alabama.

Mr. Winslow was born September 27, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late William and Ramona Stubbs Winslow. He was retired after 20 years of service from the U.S. Army including serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the VFW Post 5228.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Hass Winslow, children, Veronika Lewis (Jimmy), Tracy Meeks, Tanya Carlson (Brian), Robert Wayne Winslow, Kristy Dodd (Allen), Wanda Henderson (Craig), Terri Lutz (Jonathan), Adam Winslow; brother, Robert Winslow and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
