Totoy beloved husband, parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, brother and cherished friend passed away peacefully on Sunday August 16th, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of family. He is survived by his wife of many years Norma Cruz and too many family members to name.
A memorial to celebrate Alfonso’s life will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 am. It will be held at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave. Phoenix, 85042
Throughout his 88 years of life, Totoy shared many meaningful chapters with the people who loved him. Those chapters brought together a beautiful extended family that included loved ones who became family along the way.
Totoy was blessed with a large and loving blended family. He leaves behind children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and each one carrying a special memory and part of his legacy.
Totoy will be remembered for his quick wit, his sense of humor, his love of sports especially the home teams the Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Suns and the UofA teams, his upholstery jobs and for the countless memories created throughout the years.
Totoy’s greatest legacy is the family and love he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
