I remember when I was young I thought he was the most handsome man I had ever laid eyes on.    I could not wait for him to come home for leave.   I barely remember once when I was a very little girl Nannie had an old wire cart that she carried things in - when he was home on leave - he would roll me around the yard in that cart.    There are some pictures somewhere of him carrying me around in the yard.  You all may even have them.    My thoughts are with you.  I know you miss him.
