Baldemar Jimenez, age 91, of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away on Sunday April 28, 2019. Baldemar was born March 18, 1928, in Starr County, Texas, to Eulogio and Guadalupe DeLa Cruz Jimenez. Not only was Mr. Jimenez a hard worker, he also raised his 7 children as a single parent. Fortunately he loved kids, so he smiled a lot. Remembering his smile and how he loved to dance, will be two of the wonderful memories his family will always have.
Baldemar is preceded in death by 3 children, Erasmo Jimenez, Herminia Mori, and Betina Anaya, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by a daughter, Alma Perez; 3 sons, Juan Jimenez, Jaime Jimenez, and Guadalupe Jimenez, 22 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Baldemar will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A funeral mass will occur Friday, May 10, 2019 from 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 5445 E. Calle San Angelo, Guadalupe, AZ 85283. Burial and committal services will immediately follow at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary and Memorial Gardens.
