Was born to Artha Lee and Lee Vern Magee Sr. she was born June 28, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ. were she grew up. Barbara attended Percy L. Julian Elementary School, and South Mountain High School.
After graduating, Barbara was employed at Mountain Bell as a Phone Operator, she also drove a Taxi Cab for a number of years here in Phoenix.
Barbara later meet and married David Lee, and moved back to David’s home in Indianapolis IN. Where she joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized there.
Preceding her in death was her mother and father, also a brother and sister.
Barbara leaves to morn her two daughters Michele Magee and Danita Lee, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, all of Indianapolis IN. Three brothers Lee Vern Magee Jr. (Gwen), and Ricky Tucker, of Phoenix AZ. also Kevin Lee who lives in Washington State. Two sisters Rose Wiley, and Lola James(Bob) both of Phoenix, AZ. And a host of friends and relatives in Indianapolis, Phoenix and Mississippi.
