Bernice Brown, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was a native born Arizonan for 84 years. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to live with her son Donald and his wife ClarLoy in 2002. She was born October 22, 1918 in Glendale, Arizona. Donald was her only son but he gave her three grandchildren which in turn made a great grandmother 11 times. She loved to crochet and made many a pair of slippers for everyone who knew her. She was a friend to everyone. Everyone will miss her strong hugs she extended to all. We thank all of our friends and relatives who have helped us through her passing. The funeral will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00pm. Viewing will be from 11 am to 1 pm. at the Resthaven/ Carr Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85042.
