Billy Earl Jordan was born on March 7, 1963, to Mary Alice Sims-Moore and the late Billie James Jordan in Laurel Mississippi at Jones County Community hospital. In 1971 the family moved from SoSo, Mississippi to Phoenix, Arizona. Billy Earl was baptized at an early age at South Phoenix Missionary Baptist Church under the late Dr. Rev. Benard Black.
Billy Earl attended Sheraton Park and John F. Kennedy elementary school. Billy attended East High School under Royce Youree. Billy graduated from East High with over 500 college offers. Being the mama’s boy that he was, Arizona State University was the preferred choice to stay close to home. Billy’s freshmen year at Arizona State University earned him the Spark Plug of the year award. Following his four years at ASU, he played basketball in Mexico, Hawaii, and Brazil. On December 17, 2018, Billy was inducted into Phoenix Union Sports Hall of Fame. He worked for Maricopa County Detention for 20 years where he retired due to health conditions.
Billy was a referee for AIA (Arizona Interscholastic Association) where he partnered with his sister Janice for a short period of time as a result of his sister making the wrong calls.
Billy Earl met Odetta Jean Blomker and they had four beautiful children. Billy Eugene Jordan, Nineaka Saravanna Jordan, Trevell William Jordan, and Jaquintin Earl Jordan all currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jacob (aunt), (Maryland, VA), Paul & Bonnie DeLoache (uncle & aunt) (Oakland, CA), several cousins, relatives, friends, in addition to his Home Boys: Leroy Dean, Greg Relf, Floyd Hardin, Anthony O’Neil, and Greg Clark.
