Blanca Garza, cherished wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, loving sister, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, at Chandler Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was 74 years old.
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, Blanca carried with her a vibrant spirit and a heart full of generosity. She made her home in Arizona, where she built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Blanca was known for her giving nature and her unforgettable sense of humor. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her laughter could light up a room, her hugs brought comfort, and her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.
Blanca is survived by her devoted husband, Fred R. Garza, and her five children: Freddy Garza, Linda Garza, Isabel Caro, Yovanna Garcia, and Inez Martinez. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Lisa Garza, and sons-in-law, Edward Caro and Alejandro Martinez.
She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Brenda Melero, Kimberly Pickett, Michael Martinez, Elizabeth Caro, Eddie Caro, Sadie Garcia, Gianna Garcia, and Yvian Garza. She was a joyful great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren: Isaiah Melero, Selena Martinez, Gabriella Martinez, and Elora Pickett.
Blanca also leaves behind ten loving siblings, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Coco, who was a loyal companion and brought her comfort and joy.
She is in the care of Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary and Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven. A celebration of her life will follow, where family and friends will gather to honor the incredible woman she was and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
