My love.  I still can't get past the horror and disbelief of seeing your name and the word "obituary" in the same context.  It was 56 months yesterday; 1,704 days today without hearing your voice or seeing your smile, without receiving one of your silly texts, without knowing that you're somewhere under the same sky as I am.  I just don't know how to live this life without you.  You brought so much sunshine and joy to the people who were blessed to know you, and the world is so much darker without your light. It was 11 months yesterday, my sweet child, and it's been 11 months of heartbreak.  I never knew anyone could feel such pain and still survive. You are our bright star and shining spirit, and you are loved and missed beyond any words.

My brother Bryan I miss you so much everyday; my heart aches still till this day... I can never understand why God took you at the time that he did but I do know you are in a better place with no worries... I love you man I always will rest in heaven brother

It has taken mom almost 5 months to go to PPP but I went with Brooki and she loves it. Nana and I also took her to Makutos Island and she went straight to the video games. I love and miss you so much honey. I would do anything to make up and see you again.

Hi Honey, 3 months today of not hearing your voice or seeing you. You are so special and irreplaceable in my heart. Mama loves you forever and ever. 

I know you loved the holidays especially getting presents. You would always go around shaking not only yours but other's gifts to guess what they were. I miss that about you. 

I had so much fun with you last year with the Elf on the Shelf, you took it to another level by hiding it from mom.

When TJ was four or five, just learning to ride a bike with training wheels, I bought him a helmet, elbow and knee pads, and gloves.  He was so excited and took his bike out right away.  He headed down the sidewalk, got about two houses down, then tipped over.  He got up, left his bike, and stomped up to us while ripping off the gloves and pads. As he threw them on the ground he said "These don't work!".  Aunt Gail laughed so hard; she told him "They are only supposed to protect you, they don't make you fly."  He was so disgusted with them.

Having a hard day today, Punkin, missing you more than any heart should have to endure.  I miss your smile that lit up the room, your quick sense of humor, your laugh that wrapped itself around us like a warm blanket. You are, truly, the light of my life and the sunshine that warms my soul.

Mama and your lil "big" brother, miss and love you so much. I don't know if I can eat at Olive Garden or PPP anymore without you. Those were our places to always go.
I'm so used to texting or talking to you at least once a day. I continue to text in hoping you will text me back spiritually. I'm not sure if that is possible but I sure pray for it.

Since you were a lil guy you always made me laugh and it was the two of us everywhere with each other. I would take you to school with me. I would put you in the bike seat and we go to store together. You were better then a best friend.
I remember when I took you to the doctor, when I was pregnant with Angel, and you heard Angel's heart beat. You asked the Dr, "Is that my brother dancing in there?" To this day the doctor remembers you and tells that story to her other patients.

Iv known Bryan since about the 6th-7th grade. I met him at the skatepark, back when skateboarding was life for us.  No worries, no drama, just having fun living life, I miss those times. I never really talked to him much, honestly idk why. But i must say r.i.p my dude, you seemed really chill. Wish you didn't have to go like that.

The day Brooki was born was the most amazing experience Bryan and I ever had together. I texted him at about 1:30 in the morning on September 23, 2012. Something felt weird and I wanted to make sure he was still awake. To this day, he would still tell me he knew Brooki was coming as soon as I texted him. My water broke around 1:45 and I texted him as we were leaving to the hospital. He met me there and he was there every second of the way, even if he fell asleep a lot haha. Once they gave me the epidural, I started dilating and it only took a couple hours before I was ready to push. The nurse came in and let me know I was 10cm, and of course Bryan was asleep, my dad had run home to shower, I think Corina ran home too, and everyone else had just left. I tried waking Bryan up but he didn't believe me, I told him I was ready to push and then he woke right up and we started calling our parents. He stood there by my side, helped hold my legs up, and I guess he watched the whole thing but I wasn't really paying attention. I had asked him before if he wanted to cut the umbilical cord and he said no, but as soon as Brooki was born the doctor handed him the scissors and Bryan cut the cord off. He was so happy, maybe even happier than me because I was so exhausted. The look on his face was priceless and I know it was just love at first sight. It took us a couple days to figure out what we wanted to name her. We wrote Brooklyn on the card and then Bryan came up with the bright idea of spelling it like "Brooklin" instead, so we scratched it off really quick and rewrote it before the lady came in with the birth certificate papers. He stayed the 2 nights with me until we went home, and put up with me even though I was so aggravated, tired, and just being mean to everyone. He was always there for me. There's so much more that Brooki's going to accomplish in her life, and I wish more than anything that he was here to experience it with me. As long as I can believe that he's looking down on her and guiding her the right way, I know she'll grow up to be the smartest, funniest, most amazing little girl that he knew she would be. We miss you more than anything in this world and there's nothing I wouldn't give to have you back here. Save a spot for me up there!

So I had brought either Taco Bell or Del Taco home for lunch after work one day and we were eating at the table in our apartment. Bryan, being his funny self, thought it would be hilarious to spit spitballs at me and Brooki. He put a little piece of meat in the straw and spit it right onto Brooki's cheek and I was so disgusted but he was laughing so hard and then I started laughing. Poor Brooki didn't even know what had happened, but it was hilarious. That's what I'm really going to miss. The little things that he did to brighten my day.

In June of 2001 I had just returned from basic training.  I decided to get another tattoo and he went with me.  I even let him pick it out. The one he picked was a evil piranha- no surprise there. After I had it done we went to target and as we walked up to the store his eyes were glued to my arm. I looked and realized that I had a little blood running down my arm but it was only coming from the teeth. Guess he thought it really was evil. I miss you so much my son. Love you bud.

In February of 1998, my dog Tundra died overnight. We were headed to Old Tucson for the day and didn't want to leave her there all day, so I called Maricopa County.  They told me to put her in a box, tape it shut, and write "MCACC" on it, and someone would come by to pick her up.  TJ was 3 and a half then, and he asked what was in the box.  I told him, and he said "Oh, you put her in a box so Jesus can come by in his bus and take her to heaven?".  Two days later we were in a store and he looked inside a box; the cashier asked what he was looking for and he told her dead dogs. He even made me stop and check one out in a median, that somebody had out for a yard sale. I had to hold the box up to show him all it had in it was a rock.  Today, my sweet Punkin, Jesus came by in his bus and took you to heaven.  ILYBTTM.

I could go on forever with my stories about Bryan. He was a great friend to me and everyone else. He had the most flirty and funny personality, he could just brighten up a whole room. Bryan never failed to make me smile because he was forever throwing out jokes or just doing something silly,  but the best part about Bryan is that he was a great listener. When I had lost my brother sophomore year in high school, Bryan was there for me more than any of my other friends and that's that I was being so mean to him and he still wanted to help. I was just missing school left and right and one day I get a text from Bryan saying "come outside señora" so I go out and there he is with a big thing of flowers and my favorite chips hot Cheetos lol. It made my whole day and I think he was the only person that managed to get a smile out of me around that time. The majority of high school you would find me with Bryan and the rest of the guys. They were my bestfriends. We would always go catch a movie or hang out by my pool or go back over to Bryans and play video games. I had some of the greatest times with him and the boys. I'm gonna miss that so much. We love you Bryan

My beautiful TJ: I have so many memories of you and could talk forever to anyone that would listen. I remember when I moved in with Phil, and you thought it was the greatest house ever because it was on a lake. Weekends when I had you that was all you did...wander from lake to lake fishing.  You and Phil had your own "secret" fishing spot; at least is was "secret" to a five year old. One night your dad brought you over and Phil and I were eating lobster tails; you asked what they were and Phil told you he caught them in the lake. After that you wouldn't leave him alone, asking him how big they got, what hooks he used, what bait, and when you and he could go catch some more. You lit up my world, Punkin, and although the heavens are brighter with you there, my world is so dim that sometimes I can barely see.  I love you to infinity plus one day.

Still can't believe you're gone. The three short years we spent together were the best 3 years of my life and I can't thank you enough for giving me the greatest love of all, our little brooki monster. She will never forget you baby and I will make sure she knows what an amazing, hilarious, loving daddy you were to her. I don't know what to do without you, we spent almost every second together, had our first child together, got our first apartment together, our tattoos, everything. I miss you more than words can explain and I cannot wait to see that beautiful, flawless face again. I lalalalove you babe.
