Cathleen Marie Davies

Cathleen Marie Davies, 54, passed away on July 10, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Lance, of Chandler, Arizona, sons Cory and Trevor, father Noral Powell (Merre), mother Joyce Oberle, sisters Cari Craighead (Tom), Christy Powell, and brother Jim Powell (Toni). Cathy was born in Portland, Oregon on April 4, 1961. Her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada a few years later. She graduated from UNLV in 1984 and married Lance later that year. They moved to Arizona, settling in Chandler in 1992. she worked for several companies until starting her own bookkeeping business in 2001. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her two sons and supported them in all their endeavors. She spent much of her time volunteering in the community through St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Resthaven Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ, from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 W Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ, on Friday July 24, 2015 at 10:00am. Arrangements entrusted to Resthaven Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens. Cathy was loved by many because of her positive attitude and fun personality. Cathy will be missed by all who knew her.
