He was the 5th child of Raymond & Eva (Hughes) Molitor. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Dorothy Marion (Varville) Molitor, his parents Raymond and Eva Molitor, his sisters Alice Delzer, Grace Reiswig and Patricia Wachtler, his brother Robert Molitor and is survived by his brother Richard “Dicky” Molitor of Madison WI.
Don was proud of his careers with Target and the State of Arizona where he received his 4th class engineering degree. He spoke highly of the things he did and enjoyed both positions, but especially the State of Arizona because of the variety he had.
Since Dorothy’s passing in September of 1998, Don spent much of his time working in his shop, redoing his toy tractors, repairing old clocks and restoring his 2 Model A’s. He also had his “puppies” as he always called them. They kept him company and he would talk to them like they were family.
One of the things he was most proud of, was his time as a Marine and serving his country. He enjoyed talking about his military service and when asked questions about different things he did in the military, he could talk for hours about it. He served from March of 1953 to March of 1956 with an honorable discharge as a Corporal and a couple of medals.
There will be a small graveside service at a later date. To be determined.
