it's hard to believe it has been a year!!! we know you are still hanging around the department. we feel you and find reminders of you...we know you are watching over all of us...miss you don!! love you

Don, my BEST friend, you're gone one month and I am sure you know how many times during this young hockey season and almost completed baseball season that I have reached for the phone to call you to complain, talk, share a laugh and realize with the receiver in my hand that I can't... I miss you buddy and am not ashamed to say "I love you". Rest in peace my dear friend.

Well Daddy.  It's now been a month.  This has not been easy for me but if you're watching you know that already.  I miss you more than I can express in words.  Baseball season will never be the same without you.  I love you, Daddy.

My heart is truly blessed because you were in my life. I have enjoyed working with you, I will miss you awesome smile and your beauitful eyes, and most of all i will miss your singing. You will forever be sing in my heart handsome man... till we meet again... love you...

What I will miss most about you my friend is your ability to light up a room with just a smile, your charm, wit, laughter or a simple song.  It was truly an honor and a pleasure to have known you.  Thanks for the memories.

I am so grateful for the time you shared in my life. I miss your stories and most definately your songs (especially the one you wrote for the demise of the ER x-ray machine - I think you said it was on it's way to Bosnia)! I miss you Big Daddy.

I am blessed that I had the opportunity to work with Don these past few years.  You are definitely missed and I know  Heaven has a new singing angel now

I worked with Don at HP for many years.  My husband and I also bowled with him on the HP league and we golfed together in the HP tornaments.  Don was so serious about his sports.  He would get so mad at himself if he wasn't doing as good as he thought he should.  Well, that just opened a door for me to needle him and to also be ready to run for the hills.  Don would laugh about it later; but, oh boy, I must have known which buttons to push.  But that was our relationship.  He always got me back.  Back in the old HP days we had a lot of great fun and Don was a major part of it.  We would all get to laughing so hard, that half the time we couldn't catch our breath or we would have tears in our eyes.  And then those stories would come up over and over and we'd laugh ourselves silly again.  So, the constant theme that I keep hearing about our freind, Don, is that he was an extremely nice guy, loved to laugh and loved to make others laugh, which he did very well.  When I hear the Beatles sing now, I look towards Heaven and say hello each time to my freing Don.

Uncle Don, I'm so glad I got to know and work with you in Radiology. I truly feel like a better person. Work will never be the same with out you.

My daddy was a wonderful man and I thank all of you who supported him through everything.  I will miss him and especially miss our long hockey talks and going to the games with him.

Miss you, Don.  I'm very lucky we ended up in the same Radiology class, and then got to work together.  The posthumous email made me cry, but was so you.  See you again one day.

Rest in peace, Big Daddy. I will miss your big hugs and your singing the most. Nobody can sing the old tunes like you.
