She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Ruiz, her parents Juan and Consuelo Garza, and her brothers Juan, Adolfo, Jesse Garza and sisters Estella, Elvira, Gloria. Elena is survived by her sisters Eloisa garza, Erma Martinez and Elva Garza And her brother Rick Garza; 4 Children Joe Ruiz (Lorraine), Angelina Corrales, Juanita Ruiz and Frank Ruiz (Griselda). She has 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Elena will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 2:15 PM.
