As we reach your year mark in heaven not a day goes by that we don't think about you! Your in our hearts,and in our daily thoughts! I was able to spend some time with you a few weeks ago at Roberts and Deanna he has a beautiful shrine with your ashes and your personal items! You were so near and it felt so good to spend that time with you!  We love you the same as when you left us to be with Nana 
Consuelo, Tia Estella and Jesse.  We miss you dearly!

Not a day has gone by since I heard of Vera's terrible illness that I have not remembered all the wonderful times we shared together.  Even though we did not spend much time together in recent years since I retired from the law firm, we always remained friends and kept in touch.  Claire Spring from Treon commented at the funeral that she didn't realize how tiny Vera was because of her big personality.  I think that accurately describes our friend.  I will always cherish the wonderful, fun-filled memories I have of times we spent together over the last 25 years and will always miss my friend.  I was so impressed by Robert's caring and composure during Vera's illness and at the services.  Your Mom can be very proud of the wonderful young man you have turned into.  God bless you and your family. I will pray he continues to give you all the strength you need to cope with this terrible loss.

Dear Robert and Family…

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May time and love bring you peace and the comfort of family and friends be your strength now and in the days ahead.  You are all in my heart and prayers. There are no words to express my heartache - I will miss Vera terribly.  Although I moved back to the east coast in 1994, we stayed in close contact throughout the years.  Vera, Mary Bell and I would meet every year when I returned to Arizona for a visit and the three of us would always pick up right where we left off… our friendship stayed so strong, even though distance separated us.  It seemed as though time never passed.  I have so many beautiful memories which I will hold in my heart forever.  I have been blessed that Vera came into my life, as I now know the meaning of true friendship.  I will always love you, Vera… my “forever” friend.

Elvia thank you for being such a good friend. I will miss our lunch time visits and conversation, you truly had a big heart and you will be missed so much by everybody. My condolences go to the family and with all my prayers, "A great friend that I will allways remember".

Tia Vera it has been the most two worst months that we have endured then came the lost of the most amazing woman I have known for the last 29 years and to say the most you never changed from being the most Caring, Admirable Woman and now you leave us with a many wonderful memories to cherish! I must say those are some big shoes to fill and I hope that someday I will fill them! I will never forget the wonderful phrases that you would always use!  You made us all happy during your time with us and I know that now are making Nana Consuelo, Tia Estella & Tio Jessie happy.  Don't forget to tell them that we have not forgotten them and that they live in all our hearts!  I so miss you already..I am so happy to have shared your return to the lord on the your special day! Un mundo sin guitaras will always and have always been the song that reminds me of you!  I Love you and will always miss you!

My prayers have been with Elvira since the day she became ill. I met this wonderful person many years ago as my new neighbor when we were children. They were there for a short while, and she was a nice and beautiful friend.I met up with her a few years ago and she was the same person I met as children. I will never forget her, because I lost my sister 3 months ago and it hit so hard with Elviras passings. Like Elviras son said My mothers job has been done and now she is called back home, thats how I feel about my sister. I know Elvira is proud of her son for being so strong, after hearing him speak of his mother, I told him so. We will miss our family members that have gone back home, and someday we will all go thru the same path, with greeting arms awaiting. Elvira when you read this, give my sister Renie a big hug and kiss and tell her its from me her sister that misses her so much..AMEN

You have been in our lives for such a long time and have helped in in more ways than you can imagine. We are very grateful for everything that you have done for our family. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.You will be missed and we will always love you and remember you. <3

My heartfelt condolences to the whole family and a special prayer to Robert, Dee and the boys, we support you in prayers and much love.  I only just began to get to know Vera but she touched my heart and my life and I'm so blessed to have known her and I know she is in the presence of Almighty God now, so happy and completely healed and so loved. Vera-You are such a great woman! You were an angel that God sent to us to show how people should show love toward others. I miss you and wish I could have done more for you. You are forever in my heart and I will try to live the remainder of my life and show the boys how to show love and give unto others.I remember you said "if I have it and they need it", you are the woman I will try to shape my life by.
