Our family was fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity, after many years, to reconnect with and get to know our cousin Gabriel,  Luisa and the Ruelas family.   Now that chain in broken again, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.  Luisa, hold on tight to all your loved ones and your memories of Gabriel for comfort.  The tears will dry but the memories of him will live on forever.  Gabriel was a good man with a good family.  He served his family and his country well which reminds me of a quote by General George S. Patton who said It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.  Rather we should thank God that such men lived.

Very sorry for your loss Luise.  Gabe was a faithful servant.  He loved his  family and his faith community. God now has him in His loving arms and he no longer is in pain and suffering. Our deepest condolences go out to my Auntie Louie, Ronnie, Monique, Ryan and family.  Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in my thoughts and prayers.    

I will always have fond memories of my Tio Gabriel from childhood days to adulthood. Even though we drove him crazy as kids he always shared his unconditional love for us and always played a big part in our lives growing up.  We were truly blessed to have my Tio Gabriel as a part of our lives. I will always carry you in my heart Tio Gabriel may you Rest in Peace.

Tio Gabriel you were truly one of a kind . You were such a positive influence on so many of us in the family . You were the kind of person that we should all strive to be like .
