Gayle Mae Huston, 94, of Phoenix passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born May 3, 1928, in Kingscreek, Ohio. She was the daughter of Warren and Helen Detwiler. She grew up on the farm and was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1946. After settling in Phoenix in 1967 she had a successful accounting career in the print industry until she retired in 1990.
Survivors include her son Dale Huston; her daughter Peggy Jo Goodfellow; 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Cal Huston; her daughter Ann Farrell; her twin sister Grace Heinlen, her sister Rose, her brother Joe Detwiler, and her grandson Jesse Huston.
A private family memorial will be held.
