Georgie was my brother from another mother. Those that don’t know me, I was Eric’s little sister. Anyone who knew Georgie knew who Eric was. Georgie and Eric were best friends so I met Georgie when I was 5 or 6. In the beginning he was just my brother’s annoying best friend. As we all got older, we all were so close in age he became my friend also. He became someone else to look out for me along side my brother.  In 1996 we lost my brother. For a few years we avoided each other because truth is it hurt us to be around each other. After a few years passed we decided to embrace the bond we had. No one knew the pain we felt like we did.  We just understood each other. He helped me keep my brothers memories alive, always telling stories to my boys( even if some of them were inappropriate). He was a good uncle to them. He was a great brother to me. He had that sense of humor you couldn’t help but laugh. He helped me not take life so seriously all the time. After Georgie moved to Arizona I missed him but we spoke all the time and I was so happy for him. He had his own family with Jenn and his daughters, Alize and Keyanna. And through conversations and pictures I got to share that with him.I knew he would be a good dad. He found the female version of himself and they loved each other something fierce. I’m so happy that he was able to experience that in life. It warms my heart to know that he will no longer feel pain and is walking around up there looking out for me along side Eric again. For the ones he left behind though, this is a great loss we will always feel. He will forever be missed.💔
