Gregorio S. "Goyo" Gloria

82, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully at his home on June 21, 2012. Born August 5, 1929 in Mesa, Arizona, Gregorio was known for his “healing” hands and a variety of home remedies. He had a tremendous work ethic; always working various jobs and helping friends and family members alike. He is survived by his sisters; Sally Vela, Lucy Gloria, Lita Waldmann, and brothers; Rita Gloria, Manuel Nato Gloria, Joe Gloria, and Sirildo Cota. He is also survived by his children; Greg (Teresa), Manual, Patsy (Lisa), Johnny, Michelle (John), and George (Kescia), and by his grandchildren; Vangelina, Jessica, Reyna, Adriana, Greg Jose, Adrian, Xavier, Christopher and Antonio, and 10 great grandchildren. Gregorio is preceded in death by his parents; Micaela and Nato Gloria, his sister; Isabel Carabajal and brother; Johnny Gloria. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29th from 5:00 to 9:00pm at our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5445 Calle San Angelo in Guadalupe, Arizona (Rosary 7:00 pm). Gregorio's Mass will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 9:00 am, at our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix. Lunch will be served at the Tempe Elk’s Lodge, 2320 S. Hardy Dr. Tempe, Arizona, following Gregorio's interment. In his memory, please do something nice for someone as he did so many times throughout his life.
