Guadalupe G. Ortega was born January 28, 1929 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Amalia Cordero Gonzalez. She passed away on September 10, 2011 at her home in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings and one grandchild. Guadalupe is survived by her husband Florencio; children Ruben (Margaret) Ortega, Sylvia (David) Sandoval, Rudy (Debbie) Ortega, Lupe (Robert) Lechuga, Yolanda (Arnie) Chavez and Irma (Steve) Vital; 30 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; one sister Carmen Castro; sister-in-laws Hortencia Avelar, Elvira Ortega, Alicia Ortega and Irma Tuzon. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and many many friends.
