Joe C. Lugo (1939-2016) 76, passed away at his home, on June 5, 2016, Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary; son Mario Lugo; daughters Veronica Lugo Dimas and Yvonne Lugo; his sister Emelia Lugo; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Joe worked for the City of Phoenix Engineering Department for 33 years, retiring in 1994. He was a great musician, along side his brothers, "Los Hermanos Lugos." He enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, classic American and Spanish Western movies, traveling around the world and whistling to everything.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens; Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, Funeral at 10:00 am, with Burial to immediately follow. Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, Phoenix, Arizona.
Joe touched many people's hearts, and will forever be remembered and loved.
