I served with John in the 944th C.E.S. Prime Beef Unit, 1990-94. I was proud to serve with him and call him my friend. God Bless him and his family.

John was such an amazing teacher. I had the pleasure of working with him at Maricopa County. He welcomed me into the work family. He shared his knowledge openly. John, may you watch over all of your family. Thank you for your service to your country and for being a servant to many.

Tio Johnny, I’ll never forget your smile, you smiled just like my Tio Juan. You were such a kind and warm hearted man. You will forever be in my heart.

John you will always be remembered as a very kindhearted, compassionate person. Heaven definitely gained an angel. Rest in eternal peace. You will always be remembered 🙏

John will be truly missed. From day one that I met you, I knew you were the one for my bestie, Debbie...A few months later, I had the pleasure of being the maid of honor in your wedding in Long Beach, before our cruise. Since that time, we have had the pleasure of the many memories of both you and Debbie on our cruises, vacations-San Francisco, dinners and just hang out nights. This is so hard to write as this is still so hard to believe. I will make sure Debbie is good and will continue to cruise with her in the memories of our good times.
You are know flying with the angels and watching over my amiga. RIP

John Sanchez was my oldest friend we met at college in the fall 1979. In college I introduced him his future wife. He was my best man and I am God father to his first born.

What can you say other than the good always go too soon and you never got spend enough time with them.

Everytime I met up with Johnny, be it backyard BBQ or family function the hours were filled with laughter.

Johnny you've always been the best example of what a good man should be.

God has a new Angel, one who will patiently lead those he watches over ensuring that they laugh often and find harmony with all that surrounds them.

I will think of you often Compa Johnny.

I won't think of John and past tense his members fills our hearts for anyone who knew him or worked with him and there aren't enough words to describe John, his knowledge, personality, and him holding his head high as he held up through struggles. For 18 and a half years I had the pleasure of working with him at the flood control district of Maricopa County and he was keen to work through problems and I was always astounded at his knowledge, his history in the military and his sharing with others; truly a good guy who rose above so many others. Blessings and comfort to family and friends.

My sympathy and heartfelt condolences to all of John's family and friends. I am blessed to have known John through my time working at Maricopa County. He was truly my go-to-guy for all the history of Flood Control properties. His memory was phenomenal and I could always count on him for his knowledge and expertise. And I will always remember his patience and kindness even on those days when he wasn't feeling up to par. His sense of humor was a bright spot in the day. Above all, John LOVED his family more than anything. RIP my friend. Till we meet again. I'm blessed to have known you.

John was a great coworker and a mentor to many folks who wanted to take advantage of his knowledge and expertise. My prayers are with his family. He will be missed by many!

We didnt know that day God was going to call you home,
in life we loved you dearly. in death we do the same,
it broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day god called you home,
you left us with beauiful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broke. And nothing seems the same.
But as God Calls us one by one the chain will link again.
Cousin RIP Johnny

Brother
You gave no a last farewell,
Nor ever said Goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it,
and only God knows why.
A million times we'll miss you,
A million times we'll cry.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else can fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day God took you home.
We will meet again someday
I know in a better place.
I thank God He made you our brother
While you were here on earth.

Rest in Peace Brother
We Love you and will Truly Miss you.

I worked with John for many years at the Flood Control District. He had a great sense of humor - made us laugh a lot. Many good times and happy memories. RIP, John.
