Age 93, passed away peacefully July 7th, 2023 in Phoenix Arizona. Preceded in death his lovely wife Mary (nee Sanicola) of 69 years. Survived by his Two sons Theodore (Ted or T.R.) and Joe (Bubba) Palmisano. Three grandchildren Joseph (Megan) Palmisano, Justine (Rueben) Padilla, and Emili Palmisano. Great grandchildren Ruben and Theo Padiila and Scarlett Palmisano Sister Eileen (Pepper) Wood. Preceded in death by his mother Mary (Lombardo), father Salvatore Palmisano, brother Anthony (Snooky) Palmisano and Christine (nee Palmisano) Messenbrink. Further survived by his many close nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Joe was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he raised his family with his wife Mary for 69 years. Joe served in the Korean War. Joe was a partner at Salco Pallet Company with his two brothers in laws Salvatore (Ted) and Anthony (Tony) Sanicola for 30 years. Joe was also employee General Electric and Hotpoint. After retirement Joe was a frequent visitor to Phoenix Arizona where he would help his sons at Peddlers Son Produce and Provisions. Mary and Joe would later reside in Phoenix full time.
Joe will be known for his love of sports, especially football and baseball. His classic Black Cadillac, tailored fashion, fresh cut fruit displays, late night rummy games, expertise of produce, ice cream and sweets.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Mount Caramel Church in Tempe Arizona on July 25th, 10:00am
