Kelvin R Tate was born in California to James Isom Tate and Joyce Marie Tate who proceed him in death.
Kelvin Accepted Jesus Christ into his heart at an early age. He attended schools in Colorado and was a good student he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Panama and the United States.
Kelvin Loved to travel, go fishing, and was especially interested in automobiles. He was an exceptional artist and absolutely loved music, he loved to play as well as create. He passed his love of music to his daughter.
Kelvin moved from California to Arizona to be closer to her and while there he enjoyed worshiping at Calvary Evangelistic Center.
He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Krystal Johnson, sister Jennifer Tate, Brother Curtis James Tate (Angela), Neices Nia Harris, Adeba Harris, Samone Harris, Nephews Tupac Harris and Meshaq Harris. Step Mother Dorthy Tate, Step brother Reginald Davis(Mary), Neices Vanessa Ross Davis, Alexia N Davis, and Nephew Marcus Davis. Loving aunt Lily Broadfoot(Carroll), Aunt Fannie Hampton, Aunt Bertha Jackson, Uncle Lewis Jackson, Uncle Ray Jackson (Beverly)Texana Cole(Skip Cole), and host of cousins and friends.
A public visitation for Kelvin will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A graveside and commital services will occur at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85042.
