Larry Lee Hill, 84, of Laveen, Arizona, passed away on September 26, 2026. Born July 6, 1942, in Sherman, Texas, Larry lived a life marked by steady devotion—to his family, to honest work, and to a faith he carried with quiet strength and purpose.
Larry attended high school in Sherman, Texas, and later pursued trade school to become an electrician. He went on to dedicate 35 years of service to General Electric, building a legacy of reliability and craftsmanship that reflected the care he brought to everything he did.
On September 16, 1993, Larry married Ellvia Lydia Araiza in Laveen, Arizona. Together, they shared a life rooted in faith and service. With unwavering belief, Larry served as a pastor, and he and Ellvia carried out a traveling ministry—offering food, encouragement, and prayer, and officiating weddings along the way. Larry’s love for music was never far from reach; he loved to sing and to play his guitar, offering comfort and joy through song.
Larry was a Free Mason and a man who took pride in being helpful, prepared, and attentive to the everyday needs of those he loved. He delighted in time with his grandkids and great grandkids, and his hands were rarely still. Larry loved to fix, tinker, and build—drawn especially to clocks, cars, watches, bikes, motorcycles, and, as he often proved, just about anything that ticks. He was also famously determined to make sure his families never went without batteries, and that every room had at least one clock—small, practical acts that spoke to a steady, watchful care.
