Leon Greer

Leon Greer was born to the late George Greer Sr. and Irene Greer on March 23rd 1935 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Leon confessed in Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia Baptist Church of Texarkana, Arkansas. Some years later he met Ora L. Richie and was united in Holy Matrimony of November 1956. In this union were four sons and four daughters. Leon worked for V.O. Construction Company for many years and retired as a foreman. He later went on to further his education, gaining wisdom and knowledge in Air Conditioning. He attended T.R.S (The Refrigeration School) and completed with certification in April of 1991.Leon and Ora L. Greer became more dedicated to the Lord and United with St. Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Phoenix, AZ in 2009.

Leon is preceded in death by both parents, three brothers and two sisters. Leon departed this life May 27, 2015. Leaving to cherish his wife, Ora L. Greer, four sons Curtis (Lenora), Stanley, Michael (Tammy), Oscar. Four daughters Joyce, Jannette, Debra Greer-Higgs (Bobby) and Rorshell (Keith) all of Phoenix,

Arizona. Three brothers, George Greer Jr. of Texarkana, Arkansas, Ernest Greer (Mary) and Albert Greer both of Los Angeles, California. Six sisters Ruby Suell of Phoenix, Arizona, Willie Greer, Lillie Cobb, Katherine Nard (William), Ella Gray all of Texarkana, Arkansas and Cleo Smith of Fontana, California. 29 granchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. And a host of relatives and friends.
