Lillie life would be changed forever when her mother the late Mother Elnora Brown went to church and received the Lord as her personal savior. Lillie and her siblings started going to church after they join under the leadership of the late Bishop George Johnson, she became a faithful worker in the church. Lillie was the one at the last minute you could ask her to help and she was willing and ready to help out anybody. She begins to wonder about how real God was. So, she told the story that she asked him to do a specific thing to her hand and God did it! As she grew in the Lord she started seeking for the Holy Ghost, soon after her fasting and praying, she received it. Her Journey working for the Lord was surely was enhanced after receiving the power of God in her life. The Lord had begun to deal with her in ministry and her leader then the late Elder Leroy Wainwright saw God using her in a very peculiar way. Hhe ministered to her regarding her calling and soon after ordained her. Her spiritual life was enriched, and she was a great witness to all she met telling them about Jesus. Missionary Lillie Chatman worked in many capacities within the church just to name a few; she sang in the greatest choir in the state of Arizona, The Gospel Deliverance Choir, she served as pastor Aide President, worked with the Young Women Christian Counsel (Y.W.C.C.) Ushered Board, Building Fund Committee, Sunshine Band Department, Assisted in the Shut Ins, Intercessory Prayer Warrior and President of the Hospitality Department. The Lord was grooming her for a greater position in him. She went and talked with her Pastor Elder Sebon White Jr. and expressed that God had told her to start a ministry and Pastor White and First Lady White prayed with her a gave her their blessings and said daughter "Go in the name of the Lord and be Blessed". In May 2009, she became Pastor and founder of Forever Yours Ministry. God blessed her to preach the word to all them that entered the doors. She worked diligently in her ministry until the health of her late husband Minister John Chatman worsened. She was a willing vessel to be used by God as he pleases. The ministry will never die because Jesus lives Forever. Her signature praise was “Hallelujah” she would say it repeatedly while preaching until the anointing of the power of the Lord would fall on all. God used her in a mighty way. This woman of God loved God. She opened her arms to the poor and reached out to the needy.
