With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Luis Felipe Loera Sr., who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Mexico on February 5, 1954, Felipe’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and the joy of living life fully. He was a beloved father of 5 children, grandfather of 13, great-grandfather of 3, a brother, uncle, life partner to Gloria, and a dear friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his family, Felipe had many passions that brought him joy. He was a skilled handyman, known for his ability to fix and build just about anything with his own hands. He had a special love for his car, which he proudly maintained and enjoyed driving. His love for the open road was matched by his excitement for visits to the casino, where he relished the thrill of the game. Felipe enjoyed dining at his favorite Asian buffets and spending time with his dog Sally.
Felipe’s spirit, kindness, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His legacy of love and joy will continue to live on through his family, friends, and the countless memories he created with those around him.
A service to celebrate Felipe’s life will be held on January 31, 2025, at 12:00pm located at Resthaven Carr-Tenny Mortuary. Though Felipe is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and passion for life will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
