102, of Tempe, AZ passed away peacefully at his home on September 12, 2012. Marvin was born to Bert and Sarah Polley in Bisbee, AZ on May 6, 1910. He is preceded in death by both his parents; his first wife of 72 years; Hazel Betty Polley, his second wife of 5 years; Ethel Bonita McCracken, by his eldest son; Arthur Marvin Polley Jr., by his sister; Lorraine Polly Salmon, and by his brother; Wesley Polley. Marvin is survived by his youngest son; Ronald C. Polley (Marion), by 2 grandsons, 4 step-grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and by 2 great great grandchildren. A Gathering of Remembrance to honor Marvin will be held at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix, AZ 85042 on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 beginning at 10:00am. Marvin's interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make any donations in Marvin's name to the Phoenix Zoo at: 455 N. Galvin Parkway Phoenix, AZ 85008.
