Rachel V Pollack
March 29, 1943 – July 9, 2018
Rachel V Pollack, age 75, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on Monday July 9, 2018. Rachel was born March 29, 1943. Rachel was the third youngest of eleven siblings to immigrant parents. Being devout in her faith, Rachel felt a calling to help others and worked as a registered nurse for the better part of forty years, half of that time with Maricopa Integrated Health. She married her husband Herman in 1978 and stayed married until his death in 2000. She is survived by her brothers and sisters Chepe, Johnny, Mary, Frances and Bobbi. And is also survived by her son Isaac and granddaughter Isabella and her many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Rachel will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 1030 North Hayden Road, Arizona 85257. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:30 AM at St. Francis, 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, Arizona 85008.

My Tia Queli was so very humble. . . She loved our Lord, Jesus and His Mother Virgin of Guadalupe so much! Her and I could have some real good conversations about the spiritual world. . . The Good and the bad. . . I am so glad that I had the opportunity to converse with her for a little while at the Family Reunion this year. She picked the 1st Mass Reading for the Family Reunion. She loved her family so much, she wanted nothing but Blessings upon our family:
The 1st Reading (Eph 3:14-21) For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of His Glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in Love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s Holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the Love of Christ, and to know His Love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
To Him now who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be Glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
