Raul R. Medina, "Yo-Yo" passed away October 11, 2016 at age 77. Raul married his wife of 54 years, Juanita, and raised 6 children. Raul worked for the City of Phoenix for 36 years before retiring, where he earned a recognition award from the Mayor for his assistance in locating a missing child. Raul loved spending time with his family camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, having weekly dinners, and cheering for (or yelling at) the Arizona Cardinals. Raul will be remembered, by many, for his crazy sense of humor, which included giving friends, family, and co-workers funny nicknames, saying the funniest things at the oddest moments, and telling corny jokes that included dogs walking into bars wanting to know "who shot my paw". Raul is survived by his wife and children, Cindy, Juan, Joann, Anna, Linda, 15 grandkids, 11 great-grandkids, and is preceded in death by son, Raul Jr. Raul was very much loved by his family and will be missed... and so forth. Services to be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15th, at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 4310 E.
