Reyes Martin Alvarado

He was born in Florence, Arizona on September 4th 1954. Reyes Martin Alvarado graduated from Bonnie Eagle High School in 1972. Reyes Martin Alvarado worked in the food service industry and wore many hats including, a teamster, food preparation, and learning different aspects of the grocery business.

He had a passion for Sci-Fi movies, especially the Comet TV network. His favorite movie was 1972’s Night of the Lepus. He also enjoyed the TV shows Frazier, Friends, and Golden Girls. He especially loved the Golden Girls theme song.

He was survived by Maria Alvarado and Tina Hoffman. Other family preceded in death are his parents Reynaldo Alvarado and Tiburcia Alvarado, siblings - Dominga Alvarado, Mamie Rocha, Sophia Rojo, Domingo Alvarado, Reynaldo Alvarado Jr, Margarito Morales, Rosie Grimmett, Ellen Martinez, David Alvarado, and Gus Alvarado.

A visitation for Reyes will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A rosary will occur Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A graveside will occur Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at External Service Location, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.
