Rita Love

Rita Crevier Meeks Love of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully in her home on April 27th, 2018. She was surrounded by her loved ones and supported by the staff of Hospice at Home of Arizona. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on May 5th, 1935. She married Farrell Archibald Meeks on October 9, 1957. After Farrell’s passing, she married James Robert Love on February 27th, 2009.

She is survived by her husband and seven children, Valerie Snow (Dale), Sonia Hill (Randall), Barry Meeks (Elizabeth), Tanza Mendenhall (Bruce), Loreen Harris (Rodney), Launa Alexander (Eric) and Jason Meeks (Krista). She was preceded in death by a husband, Farrell A. Meeks, son, Farrell O. Meeks and grandson, Clinton J. Hill. She has 34 grandkids and 34 great-grandkids.

Rita converted as a teenager to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved attending the temple and doing genealogy work. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and serving others.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday May 1st, 2018 from 10:00-11:30 am followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Garden located at 4310 E Southern Ave Phoenix, AZ 85042.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice at Home of Arizona. 1423 S Higley Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206.
