On behalf of Ralph Jr, and Rosemary Gaona, we offer you our condolenses for the loss of your father.  We are sorry that we just found out of his passing and therefore were not able to attend the services for him.  How blessed to have had him in your lives for so long, so your children enjoyed knowing him and creating so many memories. I always remember him as being such a polite and caring man which you all have followed in his footsteps. Our love and prayers that our Lord help you through this difficult time in your lives.

My dad still speaks fondly about his visiting in Mesa, as well as parties where Simon and the Gaona's always were so gracious and hospitable.

Dear Simon,

I was saddened to read that you had lost your father.  I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet him and your mother when we were still teaching together in the Isaac School District.  From what you've told me, your love of life came from your Dad.  He is the only person I ever met who had actually worked at the Hayden Flour Mill.  How many times have I passed that building.  Anyway, he leaves a tremendous legacy, living to 96 and being married for 68 years!
