Tolaydo attended Madison High School and graduated from Adrian High School in 1984. She went on to attend University of Phoenix where she successfully earned her bachelor’s degree. She went on to attend Grand Canyon University to complete her master’s degree and was in the middle of working on her PhD to become a counselor before being called home.
Tolaydo took part in cheer, basketball, band, art and hanging out with her old friends in her free time.
Tolaydo was a loving, outspoken, devotional woman of GOD, who enjoyed going to the beach, shopping for her shoe and purse collection, finding new coffee shops and trying new foods. Tolaydo had a great sense of fashion and always dominated the room with beauty, smile, loud wigs and stilettos heels.
Outside of her many talents, preaching the word of GOD, being of service to others, raising her children, spending time with her grandchildren, painting, and sketching were her greatest joys.
Throughout her diagnosis, never did she lose her infectious laugh, beaming smile or her infinite faith. She often quoted her favorite bible verse. Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed. For I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of Father Ulysses Phillips; Her beautiful daughters Karmen, Kenya (Brandon Sanders), Kira (Douglas Lanier) and Loyalty (Spencer Baxter). Grandchildren; Iyanna, Krew, Knoxx, Amari, Isabel and Keilen. Sisters Nicole DAgostino, Stephanie Daniel-Buck, Monique Campbell and CasSandra Cross-Williams. Also, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
