Vernon Stanley Eddlemon, 90, passed away peacefully at home February 2, 2023. He was born the third of four sons to Charles and Ellen (Weatherford) Eddlemon on October 15, 1932, in Dalhart, Texas. He moved to Arizona at age two. He attended Arizona Academy for high school, Phoenix College, Arizona State College, (ASU) and La Sierra University prior attending Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1960. He served in the Korean War as a combat medic. He married Dorothy (Dottie) Rasmussen of Phoenix in 1955. He and Dottie moved to Tempe, where he practiced general dentistry for 52 years. He belonged to many organizations including several dental associations, societies, and alumni, Rotary International, charter member of the ASU Sun Devil Club, and served in the US Army Reserves, retiring as a Colonel. He was an active and devoted member of the Tempe Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, daughter Sheri Clem, and granddaughter Kassie Clem. He is Survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy, daughter Debi (Larry) Kuznicki, sons; Greg (Kay), Gene (Jennifer), and David. 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
