Hello Daddy 
It’s been six years since you been gone. I still miss you and think about you all the time.  I know you are happier where you are now cuz you are with mom and the rest of the family.  Bobbie and I will be seeing you today.  It’s your anniversary of your 6 years with mom again.  We are doing good all miss you very much.  I also wanted to thank you for being best dad ever and best friend too

It has been  three years you been gone and longer for you mom.  We all miss you both.   The holidays are not the same as it was when we all had you both around. We miss you all Tata, so many great memories to chose from. In account that Christmas is around the corner I remember you coming to pick my mom and us four kids up to come over to the house. We sat in the back of your covered little  red truck and sang Christmas songs. It was a bumpy and drafty drive but we knew we would be greeted  with many hugs, warm food and tons of sweets. You made it possible for us to make ever lasting memories.  Love you too you would say.  Love you Tata.

Well tata its been a year now that you been gone. Still remember it like yesterday i was doing the same thing at work then as i was today, standing not even 10 ft from where i got the news last year. right around this time of the day. We always thinking of you tata and we all miss you still a lot. It still doesn't feel quite right going over anymore knowing you not in our chair greeting us as we walk in. But knowing you're in a better place helps cope with that a  little bit. We Love You tata and you'll always be missed by all of us.

Dad you will greatly missed at home it won't be the same without you there. Thank you for every thing and helped you gave me and the kids and grand kids.  You were always there for me and I am grateful for that .  May you rest in peace and sending all my love to you and mom.  Until I see you both again.

Tata I’ll always  remember you as the man that gave so much yet asked for so little. Tata I never got the chance to tell you Thank you for all that you have done for so many of us the love that you gave was something I’ll never forget I’ll cherish the big an little memories I’ll always remember the (beep beeps) I’ll always remember you making sure everyone had a plate before you took a bite of your own. I’ll remember the times you gave us candy even after nana said no! You were an always will be a hero in my eye now yours an nanas legacy will live on forever an ever I’ll continue to tell my kids just how amazing our nana an tata were I’ll be forever grateful for you until we meet again tata I love you ❤️ 

Tata, you were always there for us no mater what. You never once complained. Thank you for teaching us patience, bravery and honor. We will miss you, see you in the funnies. I love you. ❤

Tio Vicente, we will all miss you very much. I always hold on to all the  great memories we all made as children with you and my daddy (David) on our summer vacations.  You now join all the family that has left us, as we stay behind waiting our turn. Please say hello to all of them. Love and Prayers to my cousins and their families for the loss of their father. May you have peace in your hearts. 

Mr Ortega, you were such a sweet, kind hearted man from the first time I met you and Mrs Ortega.  I loved visiting you both. You were both so nice and welcoming.  I miss the holiday cards from you both. I know you are both happy to be together again in Heaven. My condolences to the family ❤ Praying for comfort 🙏

My father, wonderful little man who taught us respect, humility, and self worth.  A man of few words, but you always knew how to convey the lessons he wanted us to learn.  He lived a humble life.  He loved all his children and grandchildren unconditionally.  He left a long legacy.  Five children, Vicente Ortega, Yolanda Ortega, Linda Matus, Benny Ortega, Barbara Jean Ortega, and many many grandchildren, and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  You are loved and will be sorely missed.

Today Mark and I were reminiscing about the time you wanted to break the concrete in the backyard. We were laughing on how we all got involved breaking it. Another favorite memory for us will always be how you “beep beep “ your grand babies when you see them. We will miss you dearly. We love you Tata

Tata was a hard working, laid back, funny and knowledgeable soul who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed classic John Wayne movies, giving the kids in our family their first haircut and teaching us how to be happy with the simple things in life. We love you Tata, thank you for everything. 💖
