Yolanda worked at Pendergast School District in Phoenix AZ, where she worked as a head cook, serving an average of 200 elementary children breakfast and lunch. She had a true love of cooking, baking and taking care of her family, she believed food was fuel for the soul. She enjoyed listening to music and watching several genres of movies with all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 adult children: Frank Burruel (Karina), Johnny Burruel, Christina Burruel (Ricky). Grandchildren: Vanessa Burruel, Kerissa Burruel, Carlos Peregrina (Juliana), Alex Burruel & Gabriel Burruel. Great Grandchild: Tristan Susa. Siblings: Manuel, Ray, Lucy, Irene & Vicky and several nephews & nieces.
A resident of Phoenix, Arizona, Yolanda will be honored at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042, US, with a Funeral Service on October 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by Committal on October 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
