Troy Cecil Honaker

Born March 28, 1947, in Pickens, South Carolina, to the late Lyda Mae Morgan and Luther Honaker.

Troy was a lifelong horse enthusiast and an endurance horse rider in his earlier years. He loved spending time on his farm and running his farm equipment. Troy was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed spending time around animals or simply cutting the grass.

He was the proud owner and president of an HVAC distributor for 56 years. He was fond of his deep friendships with fellow HVAC contractors, and even considered all of his customers friends. Troy was a quiet philanthropist, supporting causes that he felt were important to him. Troy loved nothing more than his family and his favorite place to be was at home.

Troy leaves behind his beloved life partner, Mary Flaspoehler Davis and sister Mary Lou Keasler, along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his sister, Aria Sue Bagwell, and brothers LC Honaker and Clem Honaker.

A memorial service for Troy will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671, on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
