to give birth in Silver City, New Mexico. And had fun growing up in their one-bedroom house
with her parents and eight brothers and sisters, whom she loved dearly.
When she was twelve, she met Hope, the future love of her life. She laughed whenever he told
of his first kiss with the pretty girl with long curls. Their 70-year marriage was a one-of-a-kind
love story and inspiration to all. Adela’s life revolved around loving and supporting her
five children and nine grandchildren, who knew they were cherished unconditionally.
Adela had a deep faith, quiet strength, loving spirit and smile that drew you close to her.
She is smiling now with her son, parents, brothers and sister in heaven, and will
be smiling at future family get togethers there.
