A visitation for Aurelia will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Pico Rivera, 9107 East Washington Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660. A mass will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Mariana de Paredes Parish Center, 7922 Passons Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660. A graveside will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770.

Our beloved aunt, great-aunt, godmother and friend passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 96. she was born on December 28, 1928 in Teocuitatlan de Corona, Jalisco, Mexico. Her parents were Bernardino Aceves and Maria Villa. She was the 7th out of 8 children. As the youngest daughter she would always help and take care of her younger brother Rodolfo. She looked up to her older siblings. In her younger years she enjoyed her family and learned the art of sewing in which she became a seamstress. She created and designed many dresses for her local community. Once she moved to the US, she became a caregiver to her friends, which later became her family, she made every effort to help her family back home. Although she had no children of her own, she helped raise many of her family members. Her compassion towards others was one of the many qualities she possessed. Her legacy will live on in her nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She will always be remembered as our Tia Dolia and Nina.
