Carlos R. Duarte went to the Lord on August 22, 2013. Was born in Sonora, Mexico and raised in Fresno. He served in the Navy during WWII; when he left the armed services he met and married Consuelo E. Duarte. They lived in Los Angeles and moved to Pico Rivera to raise their 6 children. He worked for JB Manufacturing for 38 years until he retired in 1985. He was an active member of the Senior Center at St. Hillary Church. Enjoyed camping and took pride in his vegetable garden and watching old video movies. Carlos is survived by his wife Consuelo for 62 years, their children, Ruben [Cindy], Lorrie Rodriguez [Ruben], Bill [Becky], Carol Morales [Mario], Carlos Jr. [Sandra], Adrienne Quevedo [Mike], and 15 grandchildren and 4 great children. And a sister Anne Kausin of Fresno.
