Eva Rios Vasquez

Eva Rios Vasquez passed away on August 18th,2025 at 92 years old after an 2.5 year struggle with Dementia. She took her last breath at home where she wanted to be. She leaves behind two sons,Frank Arras Jr and Arthur Arras and many grandchildren and one great grandchild. And many Nephews and Nieces who loved her deeply. Eva was born in East Los Angeles on 4137 E. 1st Street. Daughter of Pedro and Francisca “Rios” Robinson. Eva was the baby of six children born to Pedro and Francisca Robinson. Eva was the last of the 2nd generation. Eva’s passion for family showed in her care for her mom in her mom's last days, and raising two boys as a single parent. Always working and taking care of the home was her priority. She loved baking and one of her favorites was her chocolate cakes!!!! She loved to entertain family and friends at home. She took pride in her decorations inside and outside of the house during the holidays. Eva loved music and saw Elvis Presley in concert in the 70’s. Along with Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdinck. Eva had a sharp memory and remembered everybody’s birthday well into her 90’s. When one life is gone, another is just starting. As we lay Eva to rest let us never forget the family that lives on and to love one another. God bless you.
