To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

wow grandma it is a year that you have flown away. I now that you have looking down on me and watching me. but you helped me through everything

well grandma it is officaly one year without you in my life. when we went to the semitary to go vistit you I walked away because it was way to sad to hear everyone talk about when you where here. krystal and I walked and messed around while everyone was sad around your grave. I saw so many fishes and turtal!! well grandma I miss u very much.

Lydia today I fell so sad that your not here with us.  It's your sister Diane birthday today and we don't have you with us.  I know your in a better place but we still miss you. Plus Christmas is around the corner and all your family would really love to have you here with us. grandma its been so long since i have seen your beautiful face. i miss when you used to hug me and pray with me. i miss you so much it is hard with you not here with me. it is really hard on holiday days. i miss your stuffing on thanksgiving and how you used to watch me open my gifts. i just want you to know that i miss and love you grandma lydia.

Lydia we all miss you it's true when we call your number we expect to hear your voice but no we don't. You made us laugh we miss so much. Your girls miss you they know your in a better place but how could they stop missing you. If only you could send them a message and let them know you'll always be there regardless where you are and will continue to send your love. I miss you Mommy soo soo much I wish you were here with us. I wish I could hear your voice and most of all touch you I'm lost with out you. I know your in a better place and not suffering anymore but now I'm suffering with out you. I miss our late night talks and all the gossip we use to do. lydia a true fighter, ive known lydia most of my life and to tell you the truth some of my most happiest times where with her. if someone ask me what if anything in your life you might  have lost and found it again what would give you the most joy. what would it be? id say lydia because we had'nt seen each other in years but those last days reminded that those we love are forever. i will always remember her crazy laugh and her saying"you better back up & regroup. & her beanie cap. her and big sammy. GOD rest their soul and bless and protect their family.

Amazing pictures of Mz Lydia,  all I know is that I miss her already, what a strong big hearted lady she was, I enjoyed listening to her stories from " back in the days" and watching her shows with her, lol,  and she always got a cigarette out of me before I left the house.hahaha, She is in a better place in peace without anymore pain, and she might be gone physically but her legacy still lives on with her children and grand kids and great grandchild,  thank you Lydia for being.  the person you were. god bless you and your family,  Carmen Gaspar
