Michael Joseph Guerrero, ‘Big Mike’ was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. A devoted Catholic Christian, he fought hard for every moment he could serve while waiting. His family, his friends, his grandchildren meant more than life itself.
Albeit, a bit of a raconteur. He would “spin” amusing tales out of everyday life and be the one in a group who always jumped in when another storyteller was not vivid enough. His sense of humor was unmatched. The pure joy and fun of his gifted storytelling will be fondly remembered.
He can best be descriped through his humility. He was modest about his own importance, recognized his limitations and focused on others. Mike was always grateful for what he had and appreciative of the contributions of others. His expression of gratitude fostered feelings of value, appreciation and a sense of connection and belonging for those fortunate enough to come across him.
He was proceeded in death by his beloved mother, Dolores Guerrero. He was survived by Father Henry Joseph, three sisters and three brothers, his son Michael, daughter Jade, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
