Alice Theresa Gros

Visitation will be Wednesday May 28, 2014, 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Thursday May 29, 2014, 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 29, 2014, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, with Rev. Al Davidson celebrant. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Belle River, under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part.

Survivors include her children; Aaron Gros, Jr. and wife Paula, Tebbie Richardson and fiancé Warren Blanchard, Cynthia Rawls and husband Dan, Lynn Gros and wife Anne, Jennifer Gros, Allison Arcement and husband Gerard, and Clinton Gros and wife Tammy, 2 sisters; Gloria Hebert and husband Roy, Esther Landry and husband Alvin, 1 brother; Clay Metrejean , Sr. and wife Rosamae. 20 grandchildren; Tim, Brandy, Eric, Evan, Aaron, III, Dawn, James , Wade, Samantha, John, Aaron, Shawn, Derrick, Courtney, Joshua, Tera, Bobby, Allie, Rustin, Megan, 36 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Esma Faustine Cavalier Metrejean and Ernest Joseph Metrejean, her husband Aaron Gros, Sr., a son; Emile Metrejean, a daughter; Marlene Vickery, 4 sisters; Hazel Millet, infant sister Diane, Elsie Pitre, Susan Lacosta, and a brother; Ulysse Metrejean
